A Welcoming and Inclusive School

Joining secondary school is a big step for your child. It's important that they settle in quickly to make the best possible start.

To help students settle into life at our school, we will be running a comprehensive transition programme in the summer of 2023. As part of the programme, children will be invited to visit our new school. This will allow them to know their way around the school, take part in taster lessons and make friends with other students.

Parents will also be invited to our school. They will meet our headteacher and leadership team and get all the essential information to help prepare their child for joining our school.

Once at our school, your child will experience a welcoming and inclusive community and excellent pastoral care. This positive environment will ensure that your child enjoys their time at our school and is provided with the support they need to succeed.

Our house system will provide further support and opportunities for your child. Students will join one of four houses and participate in a range of activities and inter-house competitions. This builds confidence and, importantly, allows students to have fun!
